Inspired by that weird October heat wave we just witnessed, Beaty Heart were keen to keep everyone feeding off the glorious sun rays that kept everyone feeling happy and full. With a tight budget spent on aqueous cream, food colouring and for some strange reason Calpol as the basic props. The “Beaty” boys excelled in bringing a bright and summery feel to ‘Slush Puppy’, both song and video. This video lets you into the daydreaming world that when watched, hypnotises every part of your mind with its swirling psychedelic imagery.

With no lap-top at home and a broken record player, the only devise for music is the old walkman. Having a limited supply of CD's that are played over and over, i've become quite attached to some in particular.
Formed whilst living aboard in Madrid, Monument Valley is the musical guise of London born-and-raised songwriter Ned Younger. Pouring emotion into his tracks, Ned Younger shares tales of a troubled life so beautifully in his well crafted lyrics, his music has a sly resemblance to that of Nick Drake or the long forgotten Nizlopi.

Even though this duo from Denver have been around for some time, this band is a relatively new find for me.
Chaotic, unhinged, reverb-saturated understanding of effortlessly catchy melodies, Gauntlet Hair are a definite stand out.
